Committees
Much of the work behind decisions of the Regional Board is done at the Committee
level. This format allows broader input from the public and other stakeholders
in developing or commenting on policies and procedures.
With the incorporation of the Westside District Municipality in December 2007, the
work of five main Board committees (Air Quality, Engineering, Parks, Planning and
Environment and Transportation) was disbanded and is now undertaken by the Governance
and Services Committee. Link to
