For information regarding your utility bill you can access the information online through our Virtual District Office. You will need your account number and your access code that is printed on your utility bill to access your account information.
Please note a Late Payment Fee is now in place for accounts that are not paid by the indicated due date.
- COVID-19 Utility Bill Late Payment Relief - In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and potential economic hardship faced by electoral area residents, no late payment fees will be charged on outstanding balances for water, solid waste and sewer invoices during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters of 2020. Residents that can afford to pay their utility bills on time are urged to do so in order to provide cash flow and help in mitigating potential interim borrowing costs for operations. Late Payment Fee
A four per cent (4%) late payment penalty (compounded quarterly at 16.99% per year) will be assessed on all outstanding balances not paid by the due date. This includes customers of the six water systems operated by the Regional District; customers of the sewer system that services the Sunset Ranch strata communities, and those receiving garbage and recycling services from the RDCO.
Please note that any utility accounts that are not paid by December 15th will be transferred to Property Taxes in the next succeeding year as taxes in arrears.
