Seven Easy Steps to go Paper Free

Waste _No Junk Mail

  1. Use No Flyers or Junk Mail Stickers or Signs
If you get door to door delivery, place the sticker on your mail box. If you have a community, group or postal box, place the sticker on the inside lip of the box. It should not be placed on the inside or the outside of the door of your community box.  Print your own No Junk Mail Sign.

Visit Canada Post's Consumer Choice Program for information on stopping Unaddressed AdmailTM or call Canada Post at 1-866-607-6301.

  2. Remove your name from addressed ad mail lists
Visit the Canadian Marketing Association to have your name and address removed from marketing lists held by members of the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) (this does not remove your name from marketers that are not members of CMA).

  3. There's nothing like holding and reading a newspaper.  If it fits your lifestyle, consider the lead set by local media and view news online.
